Father's Day

We had a nice, mellow, Father's Day weekend here. It is still surreal to us to be celebrating these holidays as parents, rather than the child! Here are Chris and his boy over the weekend.


Lesley and I tried desperately to capture a good shot of Rocco & Spencer for their grandpa's...not an easy task! We wound up with this after 15 minutes or so...we'll take it!

My cousin's son turns one this week so we celebrated in the sunshine this weekend. It was so nice to actually have a warm weekend here in Boise.Here's the birthday boy!

Memorial Day

Weather was hit or miss in Boise this weekend, but luckily we had some sunshine on Saturday afternoon for a bbq at my cousin Corie's house on Sunday. It was the first time we've had all our boys together. Getting a picture of 3 babies under one was damn near impossible, but we did our best!

One Month Old

How does the time go by so fast? Last Friday (5/21) was my official due date and we feel so lucky to have had a healthy baby boy at home with us this past month. He is fast outgrowing his preemie clothes and is now finally wearing newborn sizes. This is great news, of course, but its also hard to watch my little nugget get so big so fast. One of the best things about Spencer is all his adorable faces he makes...here are a few faces from the weekend.

Happy Mother's Day

I sure didn't expect to have my baby in my arms for Mother's Day this year, so having him here in person was just great. I continue to be amazed by how much my heart is capable to love this tiny creature. And how much time can be dedicated just to staring at him. Although we didn't take any pictures over the weekend, here are some of my favorites of Spencer and me so far. I am so thankful to be a mommy to such a wonderful baby.
