Nursery

We are well underway to getting the nursery ready for the little man's arrival. This weekend was spent assembling cribs and changing tables. Chris was a trooper!

We also have the travel system ready to go. So two of my main worries - how are we getting him home and where are we going to put him when he gets here - have now been solved. Phew!

Babies & Puppies

I am so happy that Fergie loves Rocco so much...I hope she shows the same care, concern, and restraint when we bring our baby home. Rocco was having some tummy time and she carefully crawled up to him to get a better look.

After I saw how well that was going, naturally, I posed the two of them ;-)

Baby Bedding

Look at my cute baby bedding! As soon as I saw this set, my heart melted, because my "teddy" bear was actually a Snoopy doll that I loved more than anything. He was so well loved that my Gramma Mary had to sew him two new sets of clothes over the course of his life. I can't wait to pass my Snoopy on to Spencer. Thanks, Dad & Laurie for getting us this set!

Happy New Year!

We rang in the new year this year in Utah with Chris's family. It was great seeing everyone since we hadn't all be togehter since our wedding. We had a fabulous NYE dinner at Mandarin in Bountiful, Utah...if you are ever in the area you should absolutely go. It was fabulous!

I'm really excited for 2010, we have so many big changes ahead this year, the biggest and most exciting, of course, is our baby boy due in May. I think it's safe to announce that we have decided to name him Spencer (although I still have a hard time calling him anything other than "baby") and we can't wait to meet him.

20 weeks

We had our 20 week ultrasound yesterday...I can't believe how fast this is going. It felt like time was standing still when I was so sick, but now its flying by!
We got confirmation that he is, in fact, still a boy.
Now, the face shot kinda freaks me out, because he looks like skeletor, but here it is. It was kinda cute because he was sticking his tongue out at us on the screen (not in the pic though).

Merry Christmas!

I hope everyone had a wonderful holiday this past week...I know we did. Our baby boy got spoiled months before he even makes his appearance (thanks to Gramma's and Grampa's!) We had our Christmas Eve dinner at my Gram & Grampa Spencer's house. Rocco was dressed for the occasion.

Posing in front of the tree at 19 weeks...almost half way there! Does this mean I am going to get twice as big?

And then the fun begins on Christmas morning! We really are very fortunate to have such kind and generous families.

Zane's Winter Play

Last week Zane was in his first school play. I guess they are winter themed now instead of Christmas...which kinda blows if you ask me, but no one did. Anyway, it was all about the "Share Bears" and Zane was the star of the show as one of the honey-making bees. For those who haven't seen him in a while, he's the cute kid with the Star Wars shirt on.
