Suprise!

As everyone knows by now...Spencer suprised mommy & daddy on their anniversary when he made an early arrival. I haven't downloaded any of my hospital pics yet, and I am afraid I don't have many of those thanks to our NICU stay, but here we are on our first night home. Let the adventures begin!

34 weeks

It continues to amaze me how fast time is flying. At our 34 week check up on Friday, we talked about the very real possibility of being induced at 39 weeks instead of waiting til 40. That means baby could only be 5 weeks away! Or he could come 3 weeks early, like the latest Marshall baby did. Then he'd only be 3 weeks away. HOLY SHIT!

Despite everyone's comments to the contrary, I am feeling pretty big these days. Part of the problem I realized is probably my reluctance to give up my baby doll tees around the house, so I am constanly walking around with my belly hanging out, a la Barney Grumble.

Baby Shower Brunch

My fabulous girlfriends threw a fabulous shower for me this weekend and it was so much fun. Thanks to Sarah Kearney, Liz Gibson, and everyone else that chipped in with delicious food and drinks! It was all sooooooooooooo good.


I'm bummed I didn't get a picture with my wonderful host, Sarah (especially because I swear we took one), but here's a good pic of her with Kirstin & Karen.

Belly buddies, Molly & Shauna...so excited to meet baby Hamilton...next week, perhaps?

Sleep Over!

Rocco spent the night last night so mommy & daddy could have a much needed night out on the town. It was the first time we've had the little guy on a overnight stay, so it was fun to see what our life will be like two months from now. Not many pictures to share, but caught this good one of Rocco & Fergie getting their morning snuggles in. Again, I pray every day that Fergie loves Spencer as much as she does Rocco!

Baby Shower time already?!

My sister Lesley rounded up all the family...Marshall's, Spencer's, and Stonehocker's (oh my) for a brunch on Saturday morning that was a lot of fun. To be honest, it's a little overwhelming and I really can't believe how fast the last 31 weeks have gone. Now we're in the home stretch! Here I am in all my mommy-to-be glory:

A couple if highlights from the shower...here I am receiving what I think are an adorable pair of jeans...until I realize the sticker says "official jean of Brett Farve." Say it ain't so, G-Ma!

Miranda (and her awesome mom, Roxanne!) gave me this diaper baby...body is made out of diapers and he came fully dressed...and anatomically correct! Love it!
Those are tootsie rolls hiding in his diaper!

Rocco Raymond

I can't believe our nephew, Rocco, will be five months old this week. It seems like just yesterday we were waiting for him to come out and join us...memories I relived heavily last night as we toured Saint Lukes in preparation for our own birth. I am so in love with this little guy...his pictures are my focal points for birth to remind me how worth it it's going to be!

28 weeks

I meant to take a "traditional" 28 week shot over the weekend, but that didn't happen. I was able to get this great one though! Fergie can't stand it when their is PDA that she is not involved in, so when Chris started talking to the baby and kissing my tummy, she had to join in.
