This is kind of amazing so I had to share. I knew we could stretch a dollar farther here, but until I saw this visual it didn't really sink in. So, here is what you could purchase last month at a grocery store for $20
Now here is what The Idaho Foodbank is able to acquire with a $20 donation
I guess the point of this post isn't a "call for donations" just a reminder to anyone that when and if you are in a giving mood (with any charity) be aware that a little goes a long ways. Any gift in these times makes a difference.

Stoney Holiday
If you aren't doing anything tomorrow you should absolutely check out Tyler's band at the Sockeye Brewery for some Bluegrass goodness. Here's a pic from last time he was here:

February Birthday's
I wasn't the only one with a birthday so far this month...on the 5th Fergie turned one! It was just six weeks after that day that she came home with me and joined the family. Here she is enjoying her new pink birthday ball in her new pink collar.
I had a great time out with some of the girls to celebrate my birthday...here the party is winding down at Falcon Tavern, but it was a great time.

Super Bowl Sunday & a Birthday
Last Sunday was not only the Super Bowl (how great would it have been if Arizona won?) but my cousin Bryce turned three and we were lucky enough to have him visiting in Boise. It wouldn't be a party without Gram Sharon's amazing display of food. Can you believe after all this there was still homemade lasagna?
Poor lil birthday boy didn't make it to the end of the game...all worn out (and the first time all night his birthday hat was off his head).
