Happy Birthday, Corie

We took some time this weekend to celebrate Corie's XX birthday! And Gage turning 6 weeks old already. Time sure does fly! We're not sure what he thought of his first bbq...he seems fairly indifferent.

Uncle Chris trying to get him to stop fussing...and cracking everyone else up.

Chris & Jesse also embarked on quite a project this weekend. Building a rocker box for gold finding purposes...here it is in all its glory.

Stoney Holiday July 31!

Hey gang, just wanted to remind all my loyal readers that Stoney Holiday will be performing at the Visual Arts Collective (3638 Osage Street, off 37th in Garden City) on Friday, July 31. Show starts at 9 with Travis Ward and Bellamy Rose...then Stoney Holiday is up! We hope to see you all there!

Just $5 or 2 cans of food gets you in the door. The whole thing benefits The Idaho Foodbank!

Miss Meredith

I had to steal this post from Molly's blog...it was just too cute not to share! Here is our flower girl playing her new game "Shauna's wedding"

Molly's words: Meredith has been really into playing "Shaunas wedding" wearing my swimsuit coverup as her wedding dress. And don't worry, she now has a dishcloth veil to complete the look. Morgan and Marley served as bridesmaids. I was the groom.

Shoshone Falls

We made a Jackpot run this weekend and decided to stop at Shoshone Falls at the way. I don't think I've ever been there...my parents will have to tell me if I have but have just forgotten. Although I don't know how I could have forgotten this view:

As for Jackpot, it was tons of fun. Its no Vegas, but you can't beat the 2.5 hour drive time. I won, Chris lost, so as a household we broke even. My star wars slot machines and the craps tables didn't let me down!

4th of July

We had a great family camping trip in New Meadows over the 4th of July. Everything was so GREEN up there this year! There were wild daisies growing everywhere, which I quickly became obsessed with as a photo back drop.

We had a great time 4 wheeling and the boys did some gold "prospecting." Fergie always in toe for these activities!

From Beginner to Easy

Guitar Hero continues to be serious business in our house. Zane was getting bored with the "beginner" level of Guitar Hero (where you just strum) and wanted to try some finger work. Two peas in a video game playing pod...

I finally got them to venture outside for some fresh air and rough housing. Zane wanted a dog pile and it wouldn't be complete without Fergie!
