Bridal Shower
Liz and Lesley threw me a fabulous bridal shower on Saturday and it was a ton of fun! Thank you to everyone who came that made the morning so special. I can't believe the big day is almost here...although I think my blog countdown is a little ahead of itself!

Honeymoon Plans
36 days till my wedding means 37 days till my honeymoon! I can't stop staring at this picture...on Private Practice the other night (lord, did I just admit to watching that show) they called it "resort porn." As Liz Lemon would say: "I want to go to there." And I will be there soon! Other plans for the trip include swimming with dolphins at the Miami Seaquarium, and hearing James Taylor play at Sunfest in Palm Beach. We're also planning on visiting the DiLido Club where Top Chef finalist Jeff works!

Girl's Weekend
A hundred thank you's to Molly Hamilton for hosting a fun girls/bachelorette party at her cabin in McCall this weekend. Our first stop was the hot springs on the way
My cupcakes (you can't see Molly's illustrations on them, unfortunately)Actually, if you click on the picture you CAN see her handiwork so lets just say its not "kid friendly"
And here we are all at Shore Lodge
Thank you Molly, Kirsten, Heather, Sarah, Jenn & Noelle for a GREAT time!

The Next Guitar Hero
So, Guitar Hero World Tour is awesome. We don't have all the instruments yet, but if we did, the whole "band" could play, so its definitely on our "to do" list. It also has GREAT songs. The first one I played was Bon Jovi's Livin' on a Prayer, so I knew it was going to be good. Its also cool because it has a "beginners" level where all you have to do is strum and not worry about hititng the colored notes, so its been great for Zane to learn on. He get SUPER focused, so we weren't even sure he was having fun (no smiles) but he assures us he was!

Small Village Foundation
On Friday I attended the Small Village Foundation dinner & auction with my book club girls (thanks, Molly for suggesting and hosting our table). You can see pictures here on Molly's blog and you can learn more about the foundation here. Going back to my previous post about a little going a long way when it comes to charities, our table sponsored a "rain barrel" for only $350 and it will collect and provide clean drinking water for five years to a village in Africa that has been going without.
