Summer Cleaning

The time has come for Gramma Mary to move into an assisted living facility, so the fam started the daunting task of cleaning out her house this weekend. I think I counted 12 lawn size garbage bags so far and its just a dent in the process. While it did churn up a lot of memories, we did manage to find some humor in it...like when the boys discovered this giant stash of paper towells.
I'm going to make sure Matt gets all those plates hanging in the upper left of the pic.

We are all so happy that Mike & Corie had their baby on Tuesday evening. 9 days overdue, 4 days of labor, he finally made his appearance weighing in at 8 lbs, 10 ounces and 22 inches long. With lots and lots of dark hair! He is just the cutest!

Busy Saturday

We had a lot going on on Saturday...besides me checking my phone every ten minutes from a call from Corie that the baby was on its way. Not yet! Anyway, it was raining here but that didn't stop the festivities at Miranda & Josh's wedding reception. We had a great time!

Then we were off to Tuscano's for Allison's birthday. Chris was in meat heaven with the 15 varieties of all you can eat meat. I think I would have been fine with just the salad bar!

Zane's Pre-School Graduation

I can hardly believe it, but Zane's time at Giraffe Laugh is up and he is off to Kindergarten in the fall. Makes me feel old! I can still remember the day he was born like it was yesterday (which makes me SOUND old). Here we are before the festivities

The teachers predicted that he would grow up to be a politician...then here he comes waving to the crowd. They may be right! Although he insists he wants to make and play video games when he grows up. I am pretty sure we have Chris to thank for that.

June already?

We had a pretty relaxing weekend...worked in the yard, saw a movie, game night with Les & Jesse (and I got to feel the baby kick finally!). Its all good! Here we are relaxing after a long day...I like how big my ten pound dog looks in this picture!
